Wellness Practice #4
Final Wellness Practice: Massage with Lotion
Massaging lotion into your hands, feet, or body isn’t just about hydration — it’s about calming your nervous system and reconnecting with yourself.
Massage supports circulation, helping deliver oxygen and nutrients to the skin while improving hydration and barrier function. Slow, steady touch activates sensory receptors in the skin, sending calming signals throughout the body. Over time, this helps you feel more relaxed, supported, and balanced.
This is something you can do:
• In the morning to awaken and energize
• After yoga to ground
• During winter to protect and nourish
• At night to prepare for rest
Thank you so much for participating in the Wellness Practice Series! I truly hope you’ll continue weaving these simple practices into your daily skincare routine.
